Flintshire Business – Most Socially Responsible Business Winner 2016
Just a little Thank You from Deeside Dragons
“Dear Steve and the staff at Hannaman’s Material Handling,
On behalf of Deeside Dragons & the DDJIHC committee, I would like to extend a heart-felt thank you for your commitment to one of our club players this season.
It is the vision of the committee to provide children with the means to participate in Ice hockey in a pleasant, comfortable and supportive environment, something that many children in the local area are unable to achieve without financial support and additional guidance. Your generous contribution helped make our vision a reality for one of our members. With Hannaman’s providing Chad with the financial support to continue to play Ice hockey at both a junior and senior level during the season we have been able to provide Chad with structured coaching sessions, athletic support and guidance both on and off the ice.
The current season draws to a close on 4th August and the future looks bright for ice hockey in Deeside. With the introduction of a new under 20′s team and a restructure of age groups by the league we are looking to increase our club numbers to 150 children by the end of the 2015/2016 season. Novice Night training shows real promise with numbers regularly at the maximum of 50 attendees and we are hosting a number of introduction sessions for beginners and training camps for the more experienced over the summer period.
As we continue to grow as a club, please know that partnerships with our sponsors are vital to the success of our goals. You are truly appreciated and we hope to have your support once again in the coming season. Thanks again.
